UpRising is hiring a temporary Events and Communication Assistant.

2018 marks our 10 year anniversary, and we want to use this opportunity to get back in touch
with as many former participants (i.e. Alumni) as we can, and find out what they are doing
now. From those that we’re in touch with currently, we know they’re likely to have founded
their own social enterprises, become governors of schools, forging ahead with their chosen
careers.

We are looking for an events and communications assistant who is competent in a range of
roles including large-scale events administration and coordination, oral and written
communications, and stakeholder relations with a diversity of sectors and levels of seniority.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and Executive Assistant you will help to ensure upcoming
events and fundraising strategies for 2018 run smoothly, providing assistance to the Executive
Assistant and any other colleagues responsible for delivering events and communications
across the regions.

This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, values-driven organisation working to achieve lasting improvements in social mobility and diversity.
