Antonia is the Manchester Project Manager. Before joining UpRising, she worked for the National Trust’s External Partnerships Team. Prior to this, she completed a traineeship with the National Trust, as part of the pioneering ‘Strengthening Our Common Life’ (SOCL) Programme. Alongside her experience in the cultural heritage sector, she has worked in higher and primary education.
Passionate about tackling social inequality, Antonia has held voluntary roles across the third sector. She volunteered as a Support Worker for Trafford Rape Crisis, and mentored young people with the Manchester-based charity RECLAIM. She also worked as a Forest School Volunteer at Manley Park Primary School and currently delivers ‘Green Saturdays’, an outreach project enabling community members to connect with local green spaces.
East Londoner by birth, Antonia migrated up North to study English Literature at the University of Manchester, and has been an aspiring Mancunian ever since.
