Richard Fuller MP

Richard was born in Bedford and lives in the heart of the constituency.

He was raised and educated locally before leaving for Oxford University to study for his BA. Richard subsequently completed an MBA at Harvard Business School. Richard believes passionately in his home town of Bedford and is actively involved in local campaigns.

During his career, Richard has been a partner in a venture capital firm; a partner in a management consulting firm and has worked in many locations around the world including Australia, Korea, the Philippines and the United States.

Richard stood for the Parliamentary seat of Bedford in the 2005 General Election. Richard was elected to Parliament at the 2010 General Election. Since being elected as MP, Richard has established a £400,000 Local Enterprise Fund to support early stage businesses in Bedford, hosted a “speed interview” day for young people seeking work, and championed the setting up of the Bedford Free School.
