Suzie Norton has 18 years experience in the film and TV industry, working in senior positions across a variety of fields. She started her media career as a researcher for ITV’s The Sunday Programme, then moving up the ranks in GMTV to Political Producer where she oversaw the political output of, at the time, Europe's biggest breakfast show broadcasting live to 6 million viewers daily.
Suzie then moved to the BBC where as a Senior Broadcast Journalist she produced documentaries for the award winning regional current affairs programme Inside Out. Then as the inaugural Director of Film Birmingham, she was responsible for establishing the UK's second city's film office. As the CEO of Screen WM, Suzie was responsibly for investment and growth of the film, TV and games industries in the West Midlands.
Suzie is now a producer at the award-winning production company Electric Flix, and recently produced the soon to be released feature film Monochrome and with the next feature film in development. She is also creative consultant working with businesses across the creative industries.
