On 22 November 2012 UpRising was formally constituted at the Charity Commission as a separate organisation, having been helped to stand on its own two feet by the marvellous The Young Foundation. We've achieved a great deal in that time (you can read a short history here), supporting nearly 5,000 young people from underrepresented and underserved communities who've impacted more than 20,000 in their communities as a result of their work.
