🌼 Newsletter - April 2024 🌼

Our April newsletter contained the following:

Participate in, or learn how to lead a focus group

Exciting paid opportunity alert! We have partnered with The Royal Wildlife Trust for an exciting research project and are looking for enthusiastic alumni to lead focus groups.

As a leader, you'll be paid £200 for your work and each focus group participant will receive a £40 voucher.

We need focus groups of 6-8 participants aged 16-30 who are unfamiliar with The Wildlife Trusts. Gather your friends, family, sports team, or walking club!

This is your chance to have your voice heard, represent those TWT hasn't reached, and contribute to tackling the climate crisis equitably.

The deadline to apply is 15th April 10am. Visit the project page for application details.

Birmingham Alumni - Are you interested in contributing to ELP2?

We’re into the final term of our first year of ELP2, and preparing for some sessions that will best prepare our current cohort for their next steps post-programme.

We have an upcoming session titled ‘Your Next Move’ during which we’d really value your input. Would you be interested in coming along to meet our cohort and share what you’ve been up to since being a part of an UpRising programme?

Alternatively, we’re gearing up for our second year of ELP2, and it would be great to have you involved, both in our recruitment process, sharing your experience in taster sessions, and further on during programme delivery.

Getting involved would be a great way to catch up with fellow alumni, add something new to your CV and make an important difference to our sessions. We’d love to have you join us!

If any of the above sounds like something you’d be interested in, or if there’s any other way you’d be willing to help us on ELP2, please let us know! Get in touch with Sofia, our Participant Support and Delivery Officer, at [email protected]
