Our Environmental Leadership Programme 2 is delivered in partnership with Shropshire Wildlife Trust and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

ELP2 is for you if:
- You want to develop your leadership skills whilst also tackling important environmental issues
- You want to meet experts and changemakers to understand how change happens and what holds it back
- You want to grow a network of like-minded friends who share your passion to make a difference

The 9-month programme will run from October 2023 through both in-person and online activities. It is completely free and while you are on the programme, you will:
Deepen your own connection with nature
You'll take part in nature connection days at The Cut in Shrewsbury (transportation supported)
Meet experts and changemakers from across the region and nationally
You’ll attend workshops on topics such as sustainability, making political change, nature connection and campaign messaging. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to bring about real change.You'll visit region and national centres of power, including Westminster and the West Midlands Combined Authority
Learn how to run a nature connection campaign
During the programme, you’ll work with others to create a nature connection campaign about issues in your local community about which you are passionate.
Kickstart your green career
You’ll meet industry experts who can give you guidance and insight into the green sector and the career opportunities available to you.
Be part of a supportive community
The programme is open to 18-25 year olds from across the West Midlands region (from Shrewsbury via Telford and Wrekin to Birmingham) so you’ll have the chance to meet and grow your networks with like-minded people.
